Showcase nights at Heritage called great success

Students and parents attended the online showcase earlier this month. The format brought a new and effective way to still have parents gain information and to get next year's freshmen ready for Heritage.

Heritage’s Showcase Night, where people get to see what the school has to offer, was a success online this year, according to teachers and administrators. Because the Heritage staff now knows about how to handle online and Google Meets, things went smoothly, and more activities were added to create the  showcase experience.

“Mrs. Lambert deserves a ton of credit for organizing the format for the event,” Mr. Kirt Woodman, Dean of Students, says.

What really helped parents and students participate in the event was the change in format of the nights.

“We split the format up over two nights because we wanted to give parents and students the chance to attend all of the academic sessions, but still get a chance to learn more about athletics and activities,” says Woodman.

There is still a chance for parents and students to tune into what happened during Showcase Nights. The website is still open for people who missed the nights; the link is on the Heritage website. It’s under the About HHS tab at the top of the main page and under Prospective students. Learn more about what was possibly missed.
