Mrs. Kathy Smith, an Administrative Assistant, has worked for 21 years at Heritage. Some of her favorite memories were working graduations over the years that included her children, nieces and grandson. She hopes that she has impacted a good difference on Heritage. “Part of my job included giving tours to prospective families, and I hope I was able to share with them what a wonderful, welcoming, family-oriented community Heritage is. To my colleagues I hope I was able to impart upon them what a privilege it has been to work here, a desire to always do what is best for students, and a willingness to help others,” Smith says.
Principal Stacey Riendeau says that she accomplished these goals.
“She welcomed me to Heritage and has kept me on time, kept me in line and kept me sane in good and crazy times. Her skills and her heart are unmatched. Just thinking of her leaving makes me so sad but joyful at the same time. She has given her heart to HHS and now it is time for her to follow her own down a different path. I am truly going to miss my friend. HHS is truly a better place because of Kathy Smith,” Riendeau says.
