Trader Joe’s provides unique shopping experience

Trader Joe’s: a California staple with Colorado style. It was all over the news as Colorado hosted the grand opening of three grocery store locations—Denver, Boulder and Greenwood Village—on February 14.
This California-born chain of grocery stores has been long-awaited by many in the state. In all honesty, I was uncertain if it would live up to all the hype that surrounded its grand opening. While I was not dumbfounded by its marvelous West Coast-inspired inventory, I was pleasantly surprised by some of the traits it had to offer to the Coloradan clientele.

Indie Spotlight – New Politics

Pop punk has really made a comeback lately, with Fall Out Boy and Blink 182 dominating the radio and a flurry of new bands showing up in unexpected places with their own unique styles and takes on the genre. One of these fresh new bands that nobody seems to know about is New Politics, from none other than Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

I wouldn’t say I’m a dedicated fan of pop punk or dance punk, but I love New Politics. Their electric guitar-centered instrumentals, heavy beats, and upbeat sound have completely won me over.

Homes full of family members cheering on their football team don’t exactly provide the best environment for focusing on schoolwork. But never fear, a new business in Downtown Littleton, iN-TEA provides the perfect place to do homework while enjoying a nice cup of freshly brewed tea.
