Pumpkin bread made easy
This holiday favorite is both delicious and easy to make.
What you’ll need:
3 cups sugar
1 cup shortening (Butter or Canola oil also works, but shortening makes the bread look the best)
1 can pumpkin (2 cups)
2/3 cup water
3 ½ cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 ½ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1. Cream sugar and shortening together.
2. Stir in pumpkin and water.
3. Add dry ingredients, mixing well.
4. Pour into two greased loaf pans (8 ½ x 4 ½ x 3 in.)
Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutesby
