This summer, two teachers at Heritage have decided to take the opportunity to allow students to go on a comprehensive trip throughout Europe. The two teachers, Mrs. Cantwell from the Math Department and Ms. Peach from the Social Studies Department, have a strong enthusiasm for traveling, and want to give students an inclination to find the same. This will be Cantwell’s first time going on this trip, and Peach’s third time. The trip begins in Switzerland, and then goes through Northern Italy, Southern France, and the coast of Spain, led by the company EF Tours.
On Wednesday, February 1, National Signing Day took place at high schools all over the country. This day allows many high school athletes who are continuing to be involved in their sport at the next level to formally sign to their university of choice.
As the high school football season has come to a close, the Blue-Grey Football organization has formed its rosters for its annual All American Bowls. The organization is a brand established to help high school football players get national exposure and increase their chances of receiving scholarships to colleges all across the country, as well as allowing them to compete with the other highly skilled high school prospects.
As theater season came to its first big production of the year, Rumors, it brought about a mood of optimism for many involved in putting on school plays. This play, written by Neil Simon, was much more lighthearted than previous productions, and in turn, appeared to be much more fun for cast members.
